Our “Why?”
It’s never just a dinner.
Never just a celebration.
Never just a table set for an evening.
Because it’s never just objects or details, it’s people.
It’s time taken.
It’s care made visible.
We believe every guest is worthy of intention, and every gathering deserves thoughtful design from the way the table is set to the way the evening flows. That’s why we choose pieces with history - antique and vintage tableware marked by stories carried quietly over time. These pieces weren’t made to be disposable. They were made to be used, gathered around, and appreciated again and again.
To us, sustainability isn’t about doing less—it’s about choosing what lasts, honoring what already exists, valuing character over perfection, and creating beauty without excess or waste. And because true hospitality is about ease, we handle the details that allow hosts to be fully present—thoughtful planning, intentional tablescaping, seamless setup, and the quiet work that happens after the last guest leaves.
When we set a table, we’re not just styling a moment - we’re continuing a story. Your gathering becomes part of the history these pieces hold, and your celebration joins those that came before it. Nothing meaningful is ever “just” anything - not the table, not the people around it, not the care you choose to show. In a world built for convenience, we believe intention is a quiet kind of luxury - one worth setting the table for.
About the Owner
A Lifelong “Thrower”
My family always believed in what we call the “throwers and goers” theory. After more than a decade in hospitality and event management, I’ve found even more reasons to believe it. There are the throwers—the ones who host, plan, and think through the details, and the goers—the ones who bring warmth, energy, and presence. The throwers create the space. The goers bring it to life.
Growing up in a large family, celebrations were never accidental—they were planned with care. Hosting 30 people for Christmas meant weeks of preparation and thoughtful questions about comfort, flow, and gathering spaces. Even then, I was learning that hosting is a quiet kind of effort that tells people they matter.
It wasn’t until college that I realized those instincts were real skills, and it wasn’t until I began my professional life that I realized it was something I truly loved. I honed those skills managing large-scale events at prestigious universities and later building a private events program at a beloved local brewery. In every setting, the goal was the same: create experiences that feel seamless, intentional, and welcoming.
Throw & Co. is the culmination of that passion and a nod to where it all began. I created this business for the throwers - the ones who love to gather but don’t want the overwhelm that comes with planning, styling, and managing every detail. At Throw & Co., we bring the effort, so you can bring the presence. We help you host beautifully and confidently, with intentional tablescaping, curated vintage pieces, thoughtful support, and an experience that feels effortless from start to finish. So you can enjoy your guests, use the good dishes, gather often, and make every celebration—big or small—feel worth it.
Let’s plan something beautiful.
